Can I migrate my IP address between servers?

BinaryLane does not support moving an IP address from one server to another.

If you want to use another server's operating system and contents with an IP address you already have, you can instead clone that server onto the server holding the IP address. The IP address stays where it is; the operating system and disk contents are replaced with a backup of the other server.

Warning: cloning overwrites the existing disks on the server whose IP address you are keeping. Back up any data you need before proceeding.
